A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of stopping by Brian Lindstrom’s exhibition reception for his Bases Loaded series which, in Brian’s own words, is where ”hand-done graphic design explores the relationship between typography and image. These designs narrate milestones and key figures in America’s Pastime, Baseball.”
And for those who know little about the history of the old ball game, Brian placed baseballs with event descriptions on a little pile of infield dirt underneath each banner. Not only that, but he hired a dude to serve ballpark franks, peanuts, and ice cold Coca-Colas.
